Customers who apply outgoing firewall rules might need to update their firewall rules due to a different IP address used to access the NEXThink Library.
2. Installation Procedure
- For a first installation, boot on the Engine CD and follow the installation procedure.
- It will install CentOS automatically (the former content of your disk will be lost).
3. Upgrade Considerations
3.1. Upgrading Console V4.0 to latest
rpm update will upgrade the webconsole to the latest. Type: rpm -Uvh nxconsole-4.0.1.2-1.noarch.rpm after copying nxconsole-4.0.1.2-1.noarch.rpm to NEXThink Engine/Portal server.
3.2. Upgrading Console V3.2.4 to V4.0
To upgrade, you need to write down the configuration set previously in V3.2.4, and install the new NEXThink V4 Appliance.
The ISO CD will install the new console V4 and you just need to configure all settings.
