1. What is the NEXThink V3.2 solution ?

The NEXThink V3™ solution is based on a comprehensive real-time monitoring of all activities at the endpoints delivering a simplified and actionable information framework for IT Executives and Technical Staff.

NEXThink V3 provide a versatile and comprehensive information framework based on collected facts, and effective measurements, which can provides correlated informations sources and gives transversal views from the entire live company IT environment.

2. Version 3.2.1

NEXThink version 3.2.1 consists of:

  • Finder version 3.2.1,
  • Collector 3.2.0,
  • and all other components of NEXTHink 3.2.0.

To start from the Install CD, use the CD of version 3.2.0, and upgrade the Finder to 3.2.1.

3. NEXThink V3 Architecture

NEXThink V3 solution framework has four main elements that communicate using a secured mechanism.

The NEXThink Collector behave as a lightweight driver that runs on endpoints.

  • The Collector passively authenticates the context of local and network activities (Endpoint Network Activity Mapping) and provides real time reports to a NEXThink V3 Engine.

The NEXThink Engine is the application engine that aggregates and store information received from Collectors and detects anomalies.

  • Activities footprints are modeled using artificial intelligence (AI) to detect deviations.
  • The in-memory database stores every single network connection and behavior while still providing fast access to data.

The NEXThink Finder is a powerful client based application used by IT responsible which securely connect to a NEXThink V3 Engine.

  • The Finder is used to investigate and monitor collected events through advanced visualization.
  • The Finder offers real-time endpoint activity analysis and notification with advanced drill-down capacities through custom and built-in investigations and award-winning and patented visualization and modeling technology.
  • With the Finder you access information faster and obtain more actionable and tangible elements to take decisions based on real usage of your workstations and applications.

The NEXThink Portal is a versatile web portal used by IT operation representative and managers to obtain permanently updated and correlated company IT information.

  • The Portal is an innovative Web 2.0 mash-up technology to create your own dashboards and indicators with strategic information.
  • It clearly display metrics and indicators for historical trends analysis.
  • It includes open interfaces and connectors for third-party data integration.
