1. Source View High CPU Warnings Tooltips
This section describes the possible tooltips for Source View, High CPU Warnings.
1.1. Machine High CPU
This tooltip is shown in case of High CPU source warnings without associated High CPU execution warnings. It means that multiple processes are causing high CPU consumption but no process in particular is responsible for it. In such cases there are usually many processes concurrently consuming CPU resources.
Note that the given CPU value refers to the sum of CPU activity of all cores as seen by the operating system. In the example above, 196% out of 200% indicates that the machine has two logical cores, but only has 4% unused CPU capacity available between the two cores.
1.2. Process High CPU
This tooltip is shown when one or more High CPU execution warnings have occurred. The tooltip lists the processes causing warnings during the time period. The total value at the top indicates the overall machine average CPU consumption. Since the single events shown in the tooltip are not necessarily aligned and other processes could be in execution, the total value might not reflect the sum of the single entries.
