Logging in to the web interface

This page provides a step-by-step guide on how to access our web interface via your:

  • Corporate single sign-on (SSO) if your administrator has enabled the SAML authentication or Windows for users.

  • Nexthink account if an external authentication mechanism is not available.

Prerequisites

To access the web interface, you need to have a Nexthink account.

Logging with corporate SSO

  1. Open your browser.

  2. In the address bar, type the Nexthink instance fully qualified domain name (FQDN) like<instance>.<region>.nexthink.cloud and <instance>.data.<region>.nexthink.cloud, where:

  • <instance> is the name of the Nexthink instance

  • <region> is the name of the localization of the instance

    • us for the United States

    • eu for the European Union

    • pac for the Asia-Pacific region

    • meta for the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa

Example:

https://kanopy.eu.nexthink.cloud

  1. By default, the web interface redirects you to the corporate SSO authentication page. If you already have been authenticated, you are directly logged into the web interface.

Logging with local Nexthink account

  1. To access the standard local login page, use the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) including /login like<instance>.<region>.nexthink.cloud/login where:

  • <instance> is the name of the Nexthink instance

  • <region> is the name of the localization of the instance

    • us for the United States

    • eu for the European Union

    • pac for the Asia-Pacific region

    • meta for the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa

Example:

https://kanopy.eu.nexthink.cloud/login

  1. Enter your username and password in the relevant fields.

  2. Optional: Select the Remember me checkbox to allow the web interface to automatically fill in your username the next time you log in.

  3. Click Sign in.
